Death Penalty Verdict
I have experienced a lot of injustice in this country, I think US has wonderful constitution, but when we pick and choose what we want to follow out of it we open up many loopholes for injustice and corruption. We give up our rights by not enforcing them, by not fighting for them.
Parents have a constitutional right to live with their children, and children have constitutional right to live with their parents and government should have no business taking that right away from people.
The parent is taken from the child by God when the parent dies, the parent is taken from the child by fate when the parent is severely ill or incarcerated. But the government should have no right to take a child from the parent and make that child into an orphan just so they can adopt that child out and continue this corrupt injustice.
Did you know that someone writing something about you can be used as evidence in the Court of who you are? Nobody knows who you are other than yourself. Witnesses on the stand of how we would be with our child from the people that don't even know us and have not seen us with our child. Lies, so many lies, the attorneys caught DFPS representative lying over and over... And the Jury got so confused with the legality of things and 100 year old history between the two of us that 10 people decided that it's easier to kill us in the eyes of our child than to actually read and investigate through all the balk of paperwork they gave them to see that there is really nothing there other than junk hearsay.
And just as I lose the sight of light another star says "hang on"..."Your fate is not yet sealed. Even in the darkest night, a star will shine, a bell will chime, a path will be revealed." (Pam Munoz Ryan)
So now, that we have been put to death by 10 people, we have to turn to God for salvation and hope, we have to appeal, ask for a new trial, ask to reconsider and fight for our God given and constitutional rights back. But how many people give up? How many just can't go on like this anymore? How many will simply suffer in quiet pain for the rest of their days. I've seen those eyes around the store, I've seen those eyes on the Jury. There are so many people in pain out there, so why don't we just stop causing pain to each other? If we simply stop causing pain the circle of pain may begin to heal.
I will no longer silently suffer, I will evolve and I will let this pain guide me into making my children better beings, with time they will be able to understand and appreciate what I did and what I didn't do for the sake of showing them what a good person should look like, and I hope they will choose to be like me and always judge people with kindness in their hearts.
Fight for parental rights. It's time for parents to stand up and make our Representatives to change the law that allows allegations and saying it's in the best interest of the child to petition to terminate parental rights. Promote and support Innocent Tears Act and DFPS reform.
