Variable Ultimate Reality
In war on parents - the child is the casualty.
The war on parents could be an official government led action or civil action between two disagreeing adults. One of the podcasts I listened to recently described our society's present mentality as the war mentality. As soon as we encounter something that makes us feel even slightly uncomfortable or annoyed without further delay and research we begin our attempt to eliminate the unwanted, annoying and uncomfortable to us belief, being or an item; and without any consideration of what purpose may these annoyances carry and what can they help us reveal about ourselves we undermine the natures attempt to give us an opportunity for growth.
Some people believe that finding the truth is the priority of one's existence, that the ultimate reality will eventually reveal itself and that the knowledge of that truth will bring them peace. In therapy it is best described as the need for closure. The Bible warns us about the desires, that some desires once granted lead to harsh consequences, even the famous Adam and Eve story came with the warning about the price of eating the forbidden fruit of the knowledge. Don't think that it was forbidden for the purpose of them not to know, it was forbidden because these newborn creatures were not ready to carry the burden of the truth of the ultimate reality.
What is better: to have faith and no fear or to carry a burden of knowledge you may never comprehend, not being able to explain or understand with our primitive minds the nature of the void or thick darkness, the reason behind creation and death?
The human mind will never be able to see the ultimate truth and understand the ultimate reality due to all the variables that come into play in what we call the reality and truth. More people participate in the event more different perceptions of the truth you will encounter with all of them being valid, with all of them coming from the years of personal perceptions based on the personal encounters and experiences of those individuals.
In the eyes of the creator no apple is a bad apple, some apples just have different purpose and reason for their existence, not all apples and not all seeds meant to become apple trees; some meant to be food to creatures, they meant to support and grow within those creatures by braking down into tiny particles to evolve the ultimate body of creator. Does that mean that the apple didn't reach its potential?
What is the potential of a human being? In the old times you have lived a good life if you built a house, planted a tree and raised a child. In other words if you have your own place to live at, if you are committed to a family and added to the nature you should feel accomplished. What is it now? We didn't get much smarter or stronger, we have not evolved into more creative and capable beings and we have changed our goals to: high paying job, no compromises perfect relationship or no relationship at all and kill everything that stands in the way of our new found way of life in pursuit of momentary lapses of so-called happiness between long stretches of slave barter we call a job, where we trade our life and our time with the loved once for money.
Those of us that prefer old-fashioned "house, family and tree" culture are looked at as outdated, crazy and unaccomplished. Which reminds me of the post I saw recently that was questioning what the people actually think they have when they have a big house, big boat, nice clothes and jewelry - the post was advising that in reality all they have is a big debt. Those people have to work all the time to pay off the debt for living the lifestyle they don't have the time to enjoy. Health, time, true connections, family and freedom of options are the true treasures of life.
What is ultimate reality? It is just a glimpse of the present of one's own life perceived by others or oneself. In reality we can't understand the reality as it comes with so many different perceptions and experiences of the past. We can never truly know why we do things we do, we can never truly understand the reasons behind our thinking, what truly are the dreams we have, why some dreams we remember and some don't, why some of them feel so real and some don't, why we can't seem to be satisfied and keep aching for more? Is it possible that it's due to life being a constant unfinished divine unraveling itself via constant process of motion and evolution?
Enjoy the ultimately variable reality at play. We are all winners! This life is a gift that was not given to you for nothing, you deserve to be here, you competed in the race and you won. When you moved into the new existence you only got to keep what's inside of you: be it a soul or genetic material, it's something in-bedded deeply inside of your being; not anything and anyone surrounding your previous existence.
Value your life, respect the lives of others and learn to co-exist.
