Without a Voice

My child asked me so many times through out this year: "Mom, can I come home?".  They said in Family Court, that has nothing to do with preserving the family anymore, that she is too young to express her wishes and they cannot understand what she is saying.  Somehow I can understand her just fine but I am now legally dead to say anything.  What happens if no one listens to what you have to say and the attorney the State provided the child is not allowed by the DFPS representatives to visit the child.   And the CASA representative that has been working with the family all of a sudden is not in Court as her doctor prescribed that she can not testify... I never heard anything like that!  Was her heart about to explode due to all the injustice they wanted her to say about the loving parents of the child and the child's fake best interest?  The woman couldn't bare to pull the trigger to my husband and I but they had to pull the trigger so they found a willi...

When Life Doesn't Flash Before Your Eyes

At the moment that I was told that all I have worked for for the past 45 years of my life is over life didn't flash before my eyes...  I felt empty. Why do we say that life flashes before your eyes right before you die?  What if the moment is full of emptiness?  What if all you feel is nothing followed by the realization that all you have done in your life had no meaning to most and the few that cared about you will feel inevitable pain of the loss and will have to live with that pain for as long as they are alive.  But you - you will have to move on on the new path that the Universe puts you on next.  Your soul will have to learn to move forward and let go. I like good quotes.  I read a lot of uplifting quotes from so many people who try to spread joy and laughter in the lives of many.  I want to thank all those people for spreading positivity and kindness without asking for anything in return.  The movie "Passengers" suggests that we make up our...

Heartless Mind

What is my definition of the heartless mind?  I have been contemplating the possibility of a clear mind without any kindness in it.  That mind is only thinking of the what if result, not caring what the action would do to another being or a thing.  Kind of a child play when the child grabs the toy and without any thinking takes it apart just to see what's inside, or grabs a frog and squishes it without knowing what life is and the meaning of that life.  If we act with a heartless mind without knowing right and wrong, without considering the feelings of other beings, are we still human?  Can we consider ourselves human if we are unable to feel?  Unable to have empathy towards others.  Should I think that those beings are simply immature, if they are throwing tantrums like children, if they don't know right and wrong like children, if they are blinded by immediate emotion and not sense of kindness and doing the right thing?  I found that the right t...

Guilty Till Proven Innocent

During this bazaar trial I just have been put through the case worker for 4Kids4Families revealed in court that we are guilty till proven innocent... What have we come to as a society when that is a part of our training, part of our policies and part of our believe.  Is anyone truly free if that is the case?  Is anyone truly living?  We are now a society of "guilty" parents unwilling to change and undeserving  of justice.  If that is the policy we choose to govern our cities with there is truly no hope for our children.  Not only are we all born sinners in the eyes of the Lord, but we are also guilty without prosecution in the eyes of the land.  What happens if all you are left with is a pen and a paper to prove your innocence.  Then the only thing we have left is to use the pen and the paper to reach the hearts of those who believe in equal justice for all, who believe in the land of the free and are willing to listen. I always believed the inter...

Death Penalty Verdict

I have experienced a lot of injustice in this country, I think US has wonderful constitution , but when we pick and choose what we want to follow out of it we open up many loopholes for injustice and corruption.  We give up our rights by not enforcing them, by not fighting for them.  Parents have a constitutional right to live with their children, and children have constitutional right to live with their parents and government should have no business taking that right away from people.   The parent is taken from the child by God when the parent dies, the parent is taken from the child by fate when the parent is severely ill or incarcerated.  But the government should have no right to take a child from the parent and make that child into an orphan just so they can adopt that child out and continue this corrupt injustice.  Did you know that someone writing something about you can be used as evidence in the Court of who you are?  Nobody knows who you a...

Wishful Thinkers Anonymous

There is a commercial, I don't really remember which one it is, but in the background it says: Wishful Thinkers Anonymous.  It made me smile when I saw it, I thought to myself: "Isn't it all of us?"  We all have some wishes we anonymously carry inside and are too afraid to say out-loud.   Sometimes I am afraid to say my wishes out-loud even when I am completely alone.  There are a couple of reasons for that.  First, I am a true believer that wishes do come true, and second of all: I am no longer sure that we, humans, know what is good for us.  When you wish for something - you will get it.  It may just not be exactly what you meant, and it may not be exactly when you wanted it, and it may be totally wrong and unneeded when you get it.  Since I now think that we, human beings, may not necessarily know what is good for us, I try to teach myself to enjoy the present as it is and hold off on the wishes.  We are not all seeing Gods and ...

The Kind Heart

Today is my mom's Birthday.  Even though I have not seen her in years I cherish this day and celebrate her kind heart within my being.  Without her there wouldn't be me.  My mom comes from the long line of kind-hearted women none of which had easy lives.  The stories of the acts of kindness and compassion from their lives made me into who I am. Even though I don't remember many interactions with my mom's mother and grandmother I feel deeply connected to their values, I feel their strength and commitment to being a good human being despite many painful experiences of the life.  Sometimes I listen to people analyze me and my life from the tribune of their own experiences and perceptions based on some third party words and I can't help but to smile.  What can you do when someone has their mind already made up, when their minds are closed to any different opinions and experiences?  Can you explain yourself to those that don't want to see anything beyond wh...
